Never click on links from unfamiliar sources and don’t call numbers shown in emails. Familiarize yourself with the contact information of all of those individuals and companies with whom you need to communicate.  Google business and get your own contact information to ensure you’re never tricked and lastly, never supply banking or wiring information without first picking up the phone and calling the title company to make sure it was really them asking for the information.
