Wise County Title Company’s title plant is the only available title plant open for general public use.

Our hourly fee is $60.00 per hour, or any part of an hour, plus tax. Our normal business hours are Monday- Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We have the only fully indexed sovereignty title plant in Wise County, which consists of tract books into the early 1900’s, index cards through 1997, and computerized to the present time. In addition, Wise County Title Company is consistently making information prior to 1998 avaliable by computer generated searches.

Our title plant contains indexing information for all documents found of record in the Wise County Clerk’s office and Wise County District Clerk’s office. However in the computerized portion of our plant, instruments affecting the leasehold estate to property are only indexed alphabetically. (Oil, gas & mineral leases and mineral/royalty severances will not be affected.) As such, a grantor/grantee search of owners of the leasehold estate will still allow plant customers to search our database and produce reliable results while enjoying the convenience of having documents available to instantly view electronically.
